WELLINGTON, February^ 16. To-day's inquiries have not altered the number of those drowned by the wreck of the Penguin, but the name of Miss Jennings, previously appearing in the list of dead, must be deleted. She had booked to come on the fatal voyage, but did not join the vessel and is now safe at Blenheim. This reduction, however, is counterbalanced by the addition of the name of Mr James Collins, of Charlestown, near Westport, who was travelling to Wellington to attend a conference of Foresters. His name did not appear in the passenger list, but his presence on board the steamer is placed beyond doubt. Mr Collins was 38 years of age, and unmarried. f A previous wire stated that Mr Collins had been attending a Foresters' conference at Blenheim and was going on to Wellington for a holiday.
