At St. John's Church of England on Tuesday, April 19, a very pretty wedding, was celebrated by the Rev. G. Wells, when Alfred Collins, of Grafton, was married to Miss Jessie Neal, daughter of Mr. John Neal, of "The Grove," Moonee, Coff 's Harbor. The bride was given away by her father, and Mr. Herb. Neal assisted the bridegroom. Miss Becky Neal was bridesmaid and Miss Ena Neal trainbearer. Mr. Pearce was organist. All the members of the bride's family were present at the wedding.
The Wedding breakfast was partaken of at the resilience of Mrs. Lionel Gentle. Rev. Wells presided, and many speeches and expressions of goodwill and good wishes for the future of the happy couple were made.
The presents were numerous and costly. Mr. and Mrs. Collins left by the afternoon tram to spend the honeymoon in Sydney before going to their new home in Dubbo.
