Biography

Abigail Collins

Abigail was born 14 September 1700 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut.[1][2] Abygaill Collins, daughter of Danill Collins, was baptized in the First Congregational Church of New Haven on 14 October 1700.[3]

She married Eliphalet Luddington on 20 August 1720[4] or 20 August 1721.[5] Eliphalet Luddington and his wife Abigail Collins were parents of:[6]

  1. Jesse, born about 1722; married: (1) Mehitable Smith, about 1749; (2) Thankful [Unknown].
  2. Elam

  6. Amos
  7. Mary
  8. Asa
  9. Isaac, born about 1740.
  10. Amy, died without issue.

Abigail Luddington, wife of Eliphalet, became a member of the First Congregational Church of East Haven, Connecticut, on 8 October 1755.[7]

Abigail Luddington, a widow, died at age 90 (ae. 91) on 12 December 1790 in East Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut.[1][5][8]
