William Thomas Collum, son of Hiram Collum and Mary (Hartley) Collum was born on 22 May 1860 at Raleigh, Smith County, Mississippi, USA.[1] He appeared on the census of 12 June 1860 in the home of his parents at Smith County, Mississippi.[2]He appeared on the census of 11 June 1880 in the home of his parents at Cullman County, Alabama.[3]
He married Margaret Dovie Creel, daughter of Joshua Creel and Emily Francis Jones Horton, on 13 Nov. 1890 at Chilton County, Alabama.[4]
William died on 18 March 1928 and was buried at Powell Chapel Church Cemetery, Bell Springs, Morgan County, Alabama. His memorial has a photo of his headstone.[1]
