Biography

Billy Joel Collums was born on August 20, 1931, in Pitts, Mississippi, when his father, John Henry Collums, was 22 and his mother, Eulela "Eula" Prewitt, was 23. ^[1]

He married Maxine Gann on July 22, 1951. He then married Lucille Ann Mulholand on December 4, 1971, in Harris, Texas. ^{[2] [3]}

He died on November 2, 1998, in Houlka, Mississippi, at the age of 67, ^[4] and was buried near Bruce, Mississippi in the Collums Cemetery. ^[5]
