I know very often among royal families they ended up marrying cousins because they had to keep the royal lineage and properties intact.
In looking at her tree, I was getting confused because I had two branches from above that appeared to be identical. It now appears that the reason for my confusion is that she and her husband Robert Boyd

( https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Boyd-558 ) are first cousins, i.e., her father was George Colguhoun and His father was Robert Boyd, who were brothers. Perhaps there ought to be a "FIRST COUSINS" marriage flag to alert the genealogist to this situation, because the family tree programs have a hard time dealing with it. At least this should be included in the biography?
