Hi Tim. I'm sending this message to Kat Rambo too as joint profile manager. In terms of Bathia's birth and parentage, this has always been a source of frustration for me as there are 2 Bathia's born a year apart 1807/8 in same area. One which is of the Burnett line and the other, the daughter of Agnes Elmslie. See: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XBQV-6M6.
I am more convinced of the Elmslie connection as it is Chapel of Garioch based, as many of the family are, and Slains is a reasonable distance away. Is there a reason why you are more confident of Slains? I know the Ongtong Burnett story, but I have never found any evidence to link our Hardie's to that line. I'm really interested if you have any links to the Burnett name in our line? Thanks Liz McKee
My 7th GG Christopher Calvert first arrived at Accomack Co, VA in 1636 as an indentured servant. My family is related to the Eppes and Hemings family of Albemarle County, Virginia via Benjamin Colvard, Jr. (Calvert/Colvard/Colbert family tree.)

Hi, My name is Tim and I have been working on the Colverd family tree for about 6 years. Great fun, but can be very frustrating at times. Goal is to link all the various branches together.
