Biography
When Mary Colville and her twin brother William were born in 1723 in Armagh, Northern Ireland, their father, James, was 28 and their mother, Ann, was 23.
She married Thomas Marquis in 1740 in Frederick, Virginia. They had seven children during their marriage.
She died in 1761 in Frederick, Virginia, at the age of 38, and was buried in Opequon, Virginia.

Her children are mentioned in her brother, John's will. She is dead and so is her husband. Their children were raised by her husband's brother-in-law, John Wilson.
