The merge cannot be done because the fathers are different. You seem to know something about the Combs family. Please fix the father problem and then repropose the merge.

The fathers being different is likely due to a mix-up on the part of the original page author. As you've probably noticed, the DoB of Jeremiah Combs' father, John Nicholas Combs, is given as 1737, one year shy of the approximate DoB of John Combs, father of Nicholas Combs; Nicholas Combs' son, Jeremiah Combs', DoB also closely coincides with that of Jeremiah Combs', who also has the same spouse listed.

All of this leads me to conclude that Jeremiah Combs' father, John Nicholas Combs, must've been created out of confusion by merging his father and grandfather into the same individual. Furthermore, the lack of sources on his page makes this even more of a possibility.
