Biography

Ezekiel was born in 1774. He was the son of John Combs and Rebecca Fitzrandolph. He passed away in 1845.[1]

Ezekiel was the son of John Combs Sr. and Rebecca FitzRandolph. He and other members of his family were active in the anti-slavery movement in New Jersey. With his father and brother John, he petitioned the state legislature for abolition in 1796.

In 1797, he was named residuary legatee in his father's will, and served as executor in 1803.

He married Elizabeth Satterthwait on 3 Mar. 1802 in Monmouth Co., NJ.

He was a member of Chesterfield (Burlington Co., NJ) Monthly Meeting of Friends. He was granted a certificate to Falls (Bucks Co., PA) Monthly Meeting in 1807, and returned to Chesterfield in 1809.

He died in Upper Freehold Twp., Monmouth Co.
