Abraham F Combs was born in 1825, son of David Combs & Susanna France

1850 Kentucky - marriage of Abraham F Combs b Kentucky 1825, and Charlotte Brown b England 1820 ^[1]

27 May 1852 Hopkins, Kentucky - birth of son John David Combs, parents Abraham Combs and Charlotte Brown ^[2]

1860 Muhlenberg, Kentucky - Abram Combs, 35, wife Charlotte Combs, 37, children John D (8), Martin (4), Fanny E (2), Susan M (1 mth) ^[3]

The family moved from KY to IL sometime before the 1870 Census, and located near Abraham's uncle, Jonathan. Their son, John David, records that the family moved to avoid the possible Civil War. Before 1874, the family moved to MO. While in MO, Abraham obtained a patent (#275,328) for a bee-hive improvement. Sometime after 1887, Abraham, Charlotte, John, Alexander, and their families moved to OK. It would be surmised that they left MO for the great land rush, which began in April 1889.
