François Comeau was born in 1731 in Annapolis Royal, Acadie, Colony of Nova Scotia, son of Pierre Comeau (~1680 - >1731) and Suzanne Bezier (1685 - 1757).
François married Félicité LeBlanc (1746 - >1818) in 1764 in Annapolis Royal. Their children were:
François died about 1819 in Comeauville, Clare, Digby County aged ~88.
Felicite LeBlanc was godmother to Louis Inlois, was named as wife of Francois Comeau on August 17, 1800 "B. Louis Aquila William INLOIS
"The 17th of August 1800 was conditionally baptized by me, the undersigned, Louis Aquila William, born 16 May 1795 of the legitimate marriage of the late Aquila INLOIS and Marie LaNOUE, natives of the United States, not having certainty of the validity of the baptism which he had received in one of the Protestant communions, the child having been presented to me by his grandmother, Marie DOANE, wife of Pierre LaNOUE. The godfather was the undersigned baptizing priest, the godmother Felicite LeBLANC, wife of Francois COMEAU, of this parish."[1]
