Biography

Dominic was born on August 22, and baptized on December 25, 1801, as recorded in the Tracadie church register. He was the son of Charles Comeau and Marguerite Roy. Godparents were Athanase Comeau and Anne Saulnier.

He passed away in January, 1819. His funeral service was held on March 1, 1819, as recorded in the Tracadie church register. The priest indicated that his body was found frozen in the bay following the storm of January 28. Witnesses were Prosper and Tranquille Lausier.
