Biography
Amy Comer was born in 1813 in Grayson, Virginia, United States, daughter of John C Comer (1753–1836) and Elizabeth Catherine Comfort Dove (1757–1865).
Amy (21) married George Washington Rhudy (21) (born in 1813 in Grayson County, Virginia; son of John Stephen Rhudy and Elizabeth (Cocke) Rhudy) on September 24, 1835 in Grayson.
In 1880, Amy (66) was living in household of John Jennins (50) in Floyd Springs, Floyd with her siblings, John Jennins (50), and John T. Jennins (9/12); and Caroline Jennins (41), Charles J. Jennins (23), Joseph Jennins (20), Mary Jennins (18), Carrie Jennins (15), Lela Jennins (13), Sallie Jennins (12), Rosie Jennins (9), Amy Jennins (6), and Amy Rhudy (65). [1]
Amy died on January 7, 1896 in Rome, Floyd, aged 82.[2]
