Greetings. My name is Jayzen, I was born in Brisbane, Australia but was adopted out. Birth name was Michael John.
Both of my natural parent were born in Queensland, Australia. My adoptive parents. Mum was born in Ireland, Dad is from South Australia.
Single. Never married. No kids.
Started my genealogical journey in mid 2012 while in Gympie in an attempt to discover more about my blood lines. I had the normal adoptee questions of Where did I come from? Where are my roots? Using my advanced IT knowledge and research skills I was able to determine most of my immediate ancestors in a short amount of time.
Jumped onto the at-dna in June 2015 to determine my natural father. Around the same time my health slowly took a nose dive. Difficult moment in time. It was so sever, they thought it was terminal cancer. 15 months after the initial symptom I was having aortic heart valve replacement surgery. Upon looking at the fubar valve, they found the underlying problem. "Endocarditis". An insidious disease and a rare condition.

I am not related to all profiles that I merge or work on, but I am trying to work towards establishing an accurate World Tree.
The accuracy of some of the Scottish profiles notably for Clan Mackenzie, Clan MacRae and Murchison families are truly a work in progress. Bad merges. Fictitious profiles. Spurious Pedigrees; Fraudulent Genealogy; Bogus profiles. Poorly sourced from on-line pedigrees like FamilySeach, Ancestry, MyHeritage

Thank you for adding the death date of 31 May 1915 for Ellen Beilby (1821-1915).
Could you please confirm and add the source for this fact to her profile?
Many thanks Susie
Glad to have someone else actively working on this!

I thought I added them on here some time ago. They do need some tender loving care. It is great to now have family helping.
Jayz.

Thanks for taking responsibility for the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need from their profile managers. One quick way to find the profiles you adopted is by searching your Contributions List for the word "adopted" and "manager." You can find a quick link to your Contributions List in the My WikiTree dropdown menu.
Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up GEDCOM biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!
Debi
PS If you have any GEDCOM cleanup to do, there is a tool that can help with the formatting so that you can concentrate on the research. You can read more about it in the WikiTree AGC FAQ.
