Biography

John was born about 1794. John Compton ... He passed away in 1839. [1] He could have had brothers, Thomas, Levi and Samuel.[2]

Served as a Private in Captain Samuel Parsons Company in Colonel Sterling Tuckers Regiment during the war of 1812.

Information regarding his DOD and the birth-dates of some Children seem to off and this profile needs further research.
