Biography

Jesse was baptized on 13 March 1743 in the Reformed Dutch Church of Schenectady, New York. He was the son of Adam Conde and Cathrina de Graaf.[1]

He married Parthenia Ogden on 8 July 1762. They had twelve children baptized in Schenectady between 1763 and 1791. [2]

In about 1774 Jesse Conde and his family removed to what later became the town of Charlton, Saratoga County, New York, where they were among the earliest settlers.[2][3] Modern Charlton is very near Schenectady, so it makes sense that the family's children continued to be baptized in the Schenectady church.

Jesse Conde passed away in 1818.
