Biography
Herbert was the son of Charles Henry Congdon and Mary Ellen (Maynard) Congdon.
He had 6 siblings: two brothers, Fred Dart (1/2), Charles, and four sisters, Elizabeth Harriet(m.Haynes), Frankie Irene(m.Faulkner), Mary Ellen(m.Howard), and Josephine(m.Beckwith).
He married Jeanette "Nettie" Turner on 12 MAY 1890 in East Lyme, Connecticut.
They had 5 children: two (unnamed) twins died at birth, and three daughters, Louise (m. Carnoe), Lucille (m. Rice), and Arlene (m. Leeke).
He passed away in 1951.[1]
