Thomas Wallis Congdon was born in about October 1826.

Thomas Wallis Congdon, son of Maria Congdon, was baptised on 12 November 1826 in Stoke-Climsland, Cornwall, England.^[1]

He was born 'Out of Marriage' to his Mother 'Maria Congdon'. See Baptism image.

NOTE - Thomas is recorded with the SURNAME CONGDON on his Baptism and Marriage - and possibly his Death records !! However his SURNAME is recorded as WALLIS in the 1841 and 1851 England Censuses.

NOTE - Maria Congdon married Thomas Wallis senior in 1829. Based on Thomas Wallis (jnr)'s Baptism Name, we Assume that his biological father was 'Thomas Wallis snr'.

(Stoke Climsland, Cornwall is about 10 km South of Launceston, Cornwall and about 6 km South West of Milton Abbot, Devon.)

Thomas Wallis is recorded in the 1841 and 1851 Census Records but the name Thomas Wallis Congdon was used when he Married 'Hannah Dingle'.

His wife Hannah MARRIED Thomas' brother George in 1860.
