Biography

Cora Blanch Congdon was born in Big Stone County, Minn., 6 Apr 1880. She was the daughter of Darius Congdon and Mary Hubbs. The 1880 Soundex for Minnesota lists Cora in the city/township of Clarksville in Big Stone County in the household of 'Dories Condon'. ^[1]

Marriage

As a young girl Cora moved to Eagle Bend and in 1902 was married to Pearl Barnell. They moved to Bemidji in 1908. She was a past president of the Degree of Honor Lodge, Bemidji Chapter. Cora appeared in the 1910 Federal Census of Bemidji, Beltrami County, Minnesota, with her husband, Pearl M. Barnell. ^[2]
