When Moses Conklin was born on September 27, 1807, in New Jersey, his father, Moses, was 42 and his mother, Catharine, was 39. He married Johanna Riker and they had five children together. He also had three sons and three daughters with Johanna Riker. He died on July 21, 1855, in Morristown, New Jersey, at the age of 47.
