Biography
George was born about 1580.
He is currently known only through the baptisms of his children Jacob and Hester in Whitmore, Staffordshire in the early 1600s [1], and then of further children in Old Swinford in the 1610's [2].
From the baptismal entries, his wife was named Anna.
It is possible (conjectural) that George was part of a family of glass makers who immigrated to England from the Continent in the Elizabethan era.
A George Conklin was buried at St Mary in Kingswinford 14 Jan 1662 [3]
