Lydia was the daughter of Thomas Conley and Mahala Davis Conley. She married Harvey Trimble May September 8, 1853.
Another descendant of this couple wrote regarding the remembrance of Mr. Harry T. Hill about the return of the body of Lydia Conley May to Floyd County for burial. It was the first time Mr. Hill had ever seen so large an electric light and it made a life long impression on him.
