Birth & Upbringing: Born in Kenya in 1958.
Education Vincent was first taught at Glendale Primary School and then went on to St. Michael's Preparatory School and Hartmann House, before he attended St. George's College in Salisbury. After secondary school, Vincent studied at the Commercial Careers College also in Salisbury.
Military Service: The BSA Police was very much a para-military service and was the nation's first line of defence. Young policemen were thus thrust into armed conflict during the insurgency of the later 1960's and the decade which followed. Those who appear on the BSA Police Roll of Honour (War) are afforded full military honours in the true sense.
Vocation: Joined the BSA Police in February 1978; Reg. No. 10445; served until January 1979. His first posting out of Morris Depot was to Wedza police station.
Honours and Awards: He obtained his Rhodesia Sports Colours in rowing which still at school. He represented Rhodesia
Demise: KIA in an ambush while serving as a Patrol Officer with Duty Uniform in Wedza (Operation Thrasher), Rhodesia 
Burial: Vincent was buried following a semi-military funeral at the Warren Hills Cemetery on 17 January 1979 .
