Biography
When Alsey Elizabeth Conn was born on November 1, 1853, in Conns Creek, Georgia, her father, Samuel, was 44, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 40. She married Bedney Franklin Holcombe on November 5, 1868, in Cherokee, Georgia. They had 16 children in 76 years. She died as a young mother on October 30, 1886, in her hometown.
