Biography

Thomas Alexander Connolly's signed up to join the CEF on February 1st, 1916 at New Westminister, BC. He was a single teamster. His attestation papers, signed "Alex Connolly", state that his next of kin was his father, John Connolly of 915 - 8th Ave, New Westminister and notes that his mother was deceased. He was born in Surrey Centre, BC on March 23, 1896. He was 5 ft 6 in tall, 130 pounds, noted as having a "good" physical development, with a fair complexion, grey eyes, brown hair, and a scar in the centre of his forehead. He was Methodist.

He was killed in action on April 11, 1917.
