Biography

Robert Arthur Henry Connor was born around 1851, the son of Ann Connor (nee Peake) and Thomas James Connor.^[1]

He was a stock and station agent in Victoria, Australia.^[2]

He married Frances Helen Spring on 14 October 1886 in Victoria.^[3][4] Their children were:

• Ruby Thornhill Connor (1888–1979)^[5]
• Montague Peake Connor (1890–1939)^[6]
• Violette Thornhill Connor (1893–1971)^[7]
• Millie Thornhill Connor (1894–1954)^[8]

Frances died in May 1901 at Riverleigh in Alberton, Gippsland, Victoria.^[9]

Robert remarried in 1903, to Edith Elizabeth Strover.^[10]

Robert died on 7 November 1915 in Yarram, Victoria, aged 64.^[1][2][11]
