Daniel was born about 1800. He is the son of Unknown Connor. If his children were named according to tradition then Daniel's father's name would be John Connor and his mother's name may either be Margaret or Catherine.
Daniel Connor married Elizabeth Hassett on 26 Nov 1825 in the Roman Catholic Parish of Killorglin[1].
They had children John (b. 1827)[2], Mary (b. 1831)[3], Margaret (b. 1834)[4], Catherine (b. 1837)[5], Mary (b. 1839)[6], and Elizabeth (b. 1841)[7].
They lived on the townland of Glannagilliagh where their children were born. Glannagilliagh is in the Electoral Division of Caragh, in Civil Parish of Killorglin, in the Barony of Iveragh, in the County of Kerry[8]; Roman Catholic Parish of Killorglin and Poor Law Union of Killarney.
