Vina was born in 1900. She was the daughter of John Connor and Mary Townsend.^[1]

Research Notes

There is a record on Find A Grave for a Vina May Connor who was born in 1900 and died in 1906.^[2] This may be a mistranscription, because the only child in John Connor's household in the 1901 census is Ida, 8 years old.

This death record for "Vina May Connell" who was one month old when she died on 23 September 1900 in Blenheim seems like a likely match, considering that the person making the report was "J. Connor". Connell could be a mistake on the part of the person indexing the records.^[3]
