FALL FROM PILEDRIVER.
BOY SERIOUSLY INJURED.
While climbing up a piledrlver in the ship-yards in Drummoyne Bay yesterday, Arthur Reynolds, 13, a schoolboy, of Rosebery-street, Drummoyne, suddenly lost his grip on the supporting rung, and crashed to the deck 15ft below. His head struck the punt, and he rolled off into the water, between the pile driver and the wharf.
His three companions, Arthur Conolly, John Walker, and William Hines, who were swimming in the bay, succeeded in dragging Reynolds from the water. The Central District Ambulance was summoned and artificial respiration was employed. The boy was taken to the Balmain Hospital suffering from a fractured skull, severe shock, and Immersion.
