Merle was a loving mother and devoted wife. Her life was simple; family was everything. After losing her husband to cancer 30 years ago, she continued the legacy they had built with unwavering love and devotion. The true definition of matriarch, she was the foundation of her family. She loved unconditionally, without judgment. She greeted everyone with open arms. She knew when to listen, when to give advice. She covered her family with a blanket of love that will never be forgotten.
She was a devout Catholic. Her love for God was above everything. Her faith was strong and it guided her through tough times. May it give her children peace to know that today, their mother and father stand together in heaven looking down on the loving family they have left behind. Proud of the legacy they have created.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Hilltop Nursing Center and to Guardian Hospice, for their love and guidance through this difficult time.
