Just a quick response that might help, but I don't have a complete picture of what you're trying to do. If you're getting a message that you must be on the "trusted list", you need to request to be added to the trusted list of the profile page. On the person's profile page, go towards the bottom on the Right Hand Column to a topic titled Collaboration. There is a link to "Ask to be added to the Trusted List"..... Simply click on that link. Unfortunately, a profile manager will have to give you permission which may take some time...
If this doesn't help, get back with me but I won't be able to answer until tomorrow.

I took a look at Conrad-260 and saw the message you posted. I also added a few sources. As I mentioned this is an orphaned profile so there is no Profile Manager to respond. (More details if you're interested: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Orphaned_Profiles)
I'm still not clear on what you were doing when you get a message about being on the "Trusted" list. But if it concerned this profile, it's likely because it's orphaned and you need to Adopt it instead. (Look on the left side of the profile, a yellow band highlights "No Profile Manager (adopt this profile)" just click on the "adopt this profile" link and your name will appear as the Profile Manager.
However, if you don't want to be the Profile Manager (for example you're unsure you are his descendant), it's an OPEN profile and you can still edit it. It's also pretty simple to remove yourself as Profile Manager.

I just noticed you created a profile for your grandfather Gerald James Conrad. I appears to me he is actually the same person as Conrad-260 (it's a bit more evident with the sources I posted). So this will be a great experience for you in merging!
If you'd like, I can initiate the merge for you but I recommend you try your first merge.
First, you'll want to ADOPT Conrad-260. Then Start the merge from the bottom of the profile you created for your grandfather, you'll see "MATCHES AND MERGES", just below that is a link, "Initiate a Merge". It should be easy to follow the instructions from there.
The reason you start with the profile your created is because it has the highest WikiID # and the system will set up the merge so the remaining profile has the lowest WikiID#.

Since you'll be the Profile Manager for both profiles (because you adopted the older one), you'll be able to complete the merge on the spot.
