Catherine was born about 1796 in Pendleton county, Virginia (later to become West Virginia). She was the daughter of Jacob Conrad and Mary M Hedrick
She was married to Joshua Harper. They had about 10 children.
Catherine and Joshua were living in Pendleton, Virginia, USA in 1850. Six of their children were living with them, ages 9 to age 19. Catherine's birth date is estimated at 1800.[1]
After her husband's death in 1858 she was found living with a daughter, Margaret and two young children. Living next door was her son Eli Harper[2]
In 1870 she is living alone in Union, Pendleton, West Virginia. Living next door to her is her daughter, Margaret and her daughter's 5 children, along with a man whose occupation is shoemaker. [3]
She passed away in 1880.
