Ida (now Mrs. G. W. Conrad, of Union town, Fayette county);
George Willard Conrad was born on 24 September 1855 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and died 1 February 1924 in Edgewood, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania of lobar pneumonia. He was buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in South Union Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.[1] George was the son of Maximillian J Conrad (1822-1890) and Elizabeth Morganstein (1823-1900)

Max Conrad (39), day laborer, and his wife Elizabeth (38), with their children, Jacob (13), Peter (11), Elizabeth (9), George (5), Jane (3), and Ellen (1). Jacob, Peter, Elizabeth, and George attended school within the census year. Max and Elizabeth were born in Bavaria and all the children were born in Pennsylvania, except Jacob, born in France. [2]

Max Conrad (47), laborer, and his wife Elizabeth (45), owned real estate valued at $3000 and personal property valued at $200, in household with George (15), a machinist, Lizzie (17), Emma (13), Ellen (11) and Hattie (9). Emma, Ellen and Hattie attended school within the census year and all were born in Pennsylvania, and Max and Elizabeth were foreign born.[3]
George W Conrad married Alice Fife, of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, in 1876. Alice died six months after the marriage. George then married Ida Sprague, daughter of Captain William Sprague and Sarah McQuaide, on 23 October 1879.[4]

George W Conrad (25), RR clerk, and his wife, Ida (17), were married within the census year. Both were married in Pennsylvania with George's parents born in Germany and Ida's father born in Vermont.[5]

George W Conrad (45), PRR agent, born September 1855, and his wife, Ida S (37), PRR clerk, born September 1862, married 20 years, in their rented house on East Main Street. Ida reported she had one child, James S (19), born November 1881, who attended college 9 months within the census year. All were born in Pennsylvania, with George's father born in France and his mother born in Germany, and Ida's father born in Vermont. All were able to read, write, and speak English.[6]
Wilkinsburg Borough, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, 29 April 1910
George W Conrad (53), baggage master for railroad, and his wife Ida S (47), married 30 years and only marriage for both, owned their mortgaged home at 417 Ella Street. Ida reported she had 1 child, James S (29), bank bookkeeper, in household. All were born in Pennsylvania, with George's parents born in Germany and Ida's father born in Vermont, and all were able to read, write, and speak English. [7]

George W Conrad (64), a passenger agent for a steam railway, and his wife Ida (57), in their rented house at 425 Ella Street. Both were born in Pennsylvania, with George's mother born in France and father born in Germany, both speaking German. Ida's father was born in Vermont. George and Ida were both able to read, write, and speak English.[8]
