Mrs. Vogel, age 75, died at her home on North Shuffleton street early Thursday morning following an extended illness. She had been in critical condition for some time. Mrs. Vogel was the widow of Peter Vogel. They lived on a farm south of Harper until Mr. Vogel's death seven years ago, when Mrs. Vogel moved to Sigourney to make her home. Eight of nine children survive. They are: Mrs. Edward Osweiler of Webster, Mrs. Ted Dumont of Harper, Mrs Byron Linnenkamp of Delta, Mrs. George Osweiler of North English, Vicotr Vogel of Harper, Raymond Vogel of Hedrick and Mrs. Lena Osweiler and Edward Vogel of Sigourney. Brothers and sisters are Mrs. Mike Greiner, Mrs. Nick Kramer and Anton Contrad of Keota and Charles Conrad of Sigourney. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Ss. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church in Clear Creek township and were conducted by the Rev. Fr. Kleinfelter. Burial was in the Clear Creek cemetery. Sigourney Review - June 12, 1935
