He married Dorothy Brunk 2 September 1939 in the rectory of Visitation Church in St Louis, Missouri. [5]

He died in 18 March 1967 in St Louis, Missouri.[8][9]He is buried in Lake Charles Park Cemetery in Bel-Nor, Missouri.[10]
