Biography
Mick was the youngest of eight children in the family of Francis and Agnes Regan Conroy.[1]
He graduated from Kerkhoven, Minnesota High School in 1970, and then enrolled in Alexandria (Minnesota) Technical and Community College, where he earned a degree in appliance repair.
Mick served one term as mayor of Alberta, Minnesota, running his campaign on “Free Snow Removal for Senior Citizens”.
He married his wife Renee at age 38 and became foster father to her two sons. In 1990, the family moved to Sheridan, Wyoming, and in 1992 Mick purchased a flooring business, Carpet Design, which he managed until his retirement in 2018.
Mick died at age 71 after a long struggle with cancer. [2]
