Percy Constable was born in England.

Biography

The second child of Marmaduke Constable & Ethel Ann Paley, Percy Marmaduke Constable was born at Brighton Sussex early in 1864. He was baptised at Henfield, Sussex on 7 June 1864,^{[1] [2]}

The 1871 England census shows him living at Upton Green, Hampshire with his parents & siblings.^[3]

The 1881 census shows his as a scholar at Southampton College.

In around 1883, he emigrated to Natal in South Africa, the first of several of his siblings to do so.

On 10 April 1889, he married Mary Margaret Seymour, at Sydenham, Durban, Natal. ^[4] They lived in the Estcourt area, and his occupation is given as Farmer.
