European Aristocracy
Sir Robert Constable was a member of the aristocracy in England.

Robert Constable's parents were Sir Marmaduke Constable and Barbara nee Sothill.[1] He had two known siblings, a brother, William, a priest and Prebendary of Weighton, and a sister Everild.[1]

Sir Robert married Katherine Manners, daughter of George Manners, Lord Ros,[1] circa 1526.

They had eleven children, sons: Marmaduke, Robert, John, George, Thomas, Michael and daughters: Margaret, Barbara, Everild, Elizabeth, and Elinor.[1] Children of Sir Robert Constable and Hon. Catherine Manners

Sir Robert made his will on 1 September, 1558, naming his wife Katherine as executrix, and it probated at York on 27 March, 1560 (vol. xvi, 20). He was to be buried in the Quire, near his father, at Everingham.[1]
