Biography

Alice Brownrigg is shown in Constable Family Tree at Constable Hall, Constableville, NY, USA as being the wife of Thomas Constable.

Alice's father was Thomas Brownrigg, son of Henry Brownrigg. There is no known record of her birth year, which is guessed at about 1655.

The fact of her marriage to Thomas Constable is mentioned Burkes Peerage. ^{[1] [2]} The details are unknown.

Alice died in 1737 at Loggan, Co. Wexford. Her will is important in that it lists all their eight children: Thomas, Edward, John, William, Benjamin, Henry, Anne and Isabella. It also mentions son-in-law John Coates and grandchildren Alice and Jane Coates. ^[3]
