Biography

Edmond was the son of Captain James Conway and Elizabeth Roe, who was daughter and sole heiress of Edmund Roe and Alice Conway[1].

He was a member of the Kerry Grand Jury of 1679[2].

Edmond is referred to in a 1714 deed[3] "James Conway son and Heir to the said Edmond Conway ". Edmond is clearly dead prior to another deed of 1703.

Hello. I have a question. Is this Edmond the same that owned title to land and was living in Traly Burrough, Annagh Parish, Ireland in 1659 ?

Hi Talmia,

That’s an interesting question. Edmond was supposed to be in France at that stage as his father James was a Royalist. Is this from Pender’s “census”?
