David Aurnul was born in 1904 in Castle Dale, Emery, Utah.

Parents were John Cook and Victoria Palmer He went by his middle name Aurnul instead of David.

Aurnul was quite ill the last few years of his life but got to know his great grandchildren and play with them while they were little. Florence soon became quite ill after Aurnul and both passed away in the Molalla, Oregon area
