Obit published on 16 JUL 1993 - Wichita Falls Times Record. Note: Minnie Louise Cook Mansell, 84 of 4600 Taft died Wednesday in her home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Isaac Butterworth, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Charlie, Texas, Cemetery under the direction of Hampton-Vaughan Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mansell was born May 31, 1910 in Wichita Falls where she lived most of her life. She was a bookkeeper for Van Lesley Distributing Company in Wichita Falls and Olney for more than 30 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she was a member of and taught Friendship Sunday school class for 40 years, and was a member of the church choir for 35 years. She was active in the Presbyterian Women's Organization and was a member of Eastern Star Chapter No. 237. She was a member of Thornberry, Texas Ladies Study Club. In 1968, she was named Outstanding Homemaker of the Community. She was a member of the Business Professional Women's Association and was a member of the Musician's Club of Wichita Falls. She was also active in the Charlie United Methodist Church, where she played piano.

Survivors include her husband Robert Lewis; two daughters, Bobbie Flatt and Blanche Donnell, both of Wichita Falls; seven grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Fund - Presbyterian Manor 4600 Taft Wichita Falls, Texas 76308.
