Where is the proof that Sarah was a McAlester?

I know that this has been assumed, for many years: the assumption is that Hannah Clayton, widow, married Andrew McAlister and had, among others, Sarah, who then married Abraham Cooke, Jr, son of Abe and Martha Clayton/Cleaton Cooke.

Cook-38275 and Cook-2711 appear to represent the same person because: they have the same parents and siblings.

Hi! I'm working on conforming the Virginia Project to clarified WikiTree guidelines that say if a profile has a project box then it needs to be managed by the project. I don't see that this profile needs project management, so I deleted the Virginia Project Box. If you think it would benefit from project management, you can add it back if you also add the project account as a manager (WikiTree-41 has info on how to do that).

Please give me a holler if you have any questions.

Cheers, Liz ~ Leader, Virginia Project
