Catherine Margaret Toohey, daughter of Hannah and William, was born at Gunning in 1860. In 1885 she married John Cook at Bourke. No other details are known about John or his parents. Three of Catherine's and John's children, William, John and Robert, were born at Bourke from 1886 to 1890 and James was born in 1891 at Nyngan, in north western NSW. Catherine died in 1892 and is buried at Bourke.^[3]
