The biography for John T. Cook is empty. What can you add?
I am John Thomas Cook and my grandmother was Armilda Harrison Cook from Kentucky and I can trace her family back to Burr Powell Harrison, which appears to be my 8th generation grandfather. My grandfather was James Thomas Cook from Kentucky and his father was Albert G. Cook, born in 1808(census) in Barren County, Kentucky and died in Glasgow, Kentucky in 1880 of a stroke(?). Unfortunately, I have not been able to locate Albert's parents after a lot of intensive research, so not sure, if he was really born in Barren County. In the beginning, I thought that his father may have been George Bryant Cook, since the location and time was right, but that has since been ruled out. My father indicated that his main ancestors were English(Anglo Saxon), Scottish, and German. So, any help from other Genealogists would be most appreciated.
