Benjamin Cook was born in Kent, England.

Stephen was born in Ulcombe, Kent during 1840 to parents Edward Cook & Charlotte Hayes.[1] He was christened at Leeds, Kent on 8 November 1840.[2]

Fanny Nash married Benjamin Cook in Maidstone, Kent on 2 December 1871.[3] Their children were:

  • James Cook, born 1872 in Hollingbourne, Kent[4]
  • Stephen Benjamin Cook, born 1873 in Hollingbourne[5]
  • George Cook, born 1875 in Maidstone, Kent[6]
  • Fanny Cecilia Cook, born 1877 in Maidstone[7]
  • Rose Cook, born 1878 in Maidstone[8]
  • Charles Cook, born 1880 in Maidstone[9]
  • Henry William Cook, born 1882 in Maidstone[10]
  • Edith Cook, born 1886 in Maidstone[11]
  • Thomas Cook, born 1889 in Maidstone[12]
  • Maud Cook, born 1889 in Maidstone[13]

In 1881 Fanny was 35 years old and living at Market Street, Maidstone, Kent with her husband Stephen Benjamin Cook (41) and children (Benjamin 8, George 6, Rosa 2, Charles 0).[14]

In 1891 Fanny was 43 years old and living at St Peters Street, Maidstone with her husband Stephen B Cook (42) and children (Stephen B Cook 17 & George Cook 15)[15]

In 1901 Fanny was 55 years old and living at Upper Fant Road, Maidstone with her husband Stephen B Cook (61) and children (George 25, Rosa 22, Charlie 20, Harry 18)[16]

In 1911 Fanny was 63 years old and living at Maidstone with her husband Stephen B Cook (69), children (Stephen 37, George 35, Harry William 28) and visitor Louisa Maud Murton 23 from Woodgreen, London[17]

Stephen died aged 80 in the Maidstone district during 1921.[18]
