Mercy Cooke was born on July 8, 1746, in Foster, Rhode Island, her father, Peter, was 25, and her mother, Mercy, was 17. She married Thomas Greene in 1762 in Rhode Island. They had at the least two children during their marriage. She died on January 5, 1825, in Nantucket, Massachusetts, having lived a long life of 78 years. Known Children ( Job, Almy and Penelope)
