When MERCY MARCY COOK was born in 1734 in Massachusetts, her father, JACOB, was 27, and her mother, MERCY, was 22. She married SAMUEL CLARK on January 1, 1756, in Middletown, Connecticut. They had nine children in 20 years. She died on December 21, 1821, in Otis, Massachusetts, having lived a long life of 87 years, and was buried there.
