DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Alex by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Alex:

Sorry Anon, that it took me so long to get back to you. Life interferes, you know? Anyway I tried going and seeing the people you sent to me to look at (J.A. Cook and JA Cook) on family search with the urls, and it told me that the pages could not be found, that they had been removed or something. So I tried looking in the search on Family Search with just there names and could find which 2 you meant. Sorry, I too was hoping maybe a great lead.

Could Alex be "James A" / "J A" Cook, as shown on these two records?
